Hospitality, Health, Children, and Parking
- Parking, Ability Mindfulness, and Access
- There are 50-100 parking spots on site. We are reserving most of those parking spots for musicians with equipment, food vendors, elders, persons with disabilities, and families with infants.
- If you are able to walk, please drop your things off at Group Camp 1 and then turn back and park along the road , at the cabin parking, or at the Meeting Room (If Meeting Room is still closed for construction). These areas are located a couple blocks away from the venue . (See map in the photos below.)
- If you are an elder, have infants, or are unable to walk, please fill out this form to reserve parking on site.
- The buildings are ADA accessible. There is an outdoor elevator to the second floor. (See photo of the elevator below.)
- Allergy Mindfulness:
- Please label shared foods that have tree nuts or other allergens.
- No Pets on site.
- Swimming and Fishing in Lake Pontchartrain
- Infectious Diseases
- Cultural Sharing, Shows and Workshops will be both indoors and outdoors. There are ten large double doors to the dancehall. Outdoor and open air activities will depend on the weather. If you are at all symptomatic, please do not come. Guests who are immune compromised are encouraged to tent camp and stay in outdoor spaces.
- Children and Youth
- This is a kid friendly camp-out.
- There will be a section of the campground reserved for families with children with quiet hours from 7 PM-7 AM.
- There is a path that goes from the Group Camp to Lake Pontchartrain. If your children would like to go swimming, please ensure that either you or another adult are with them.
- Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to create a welcoming space!
